Announcing the new Center Gallery
The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation presents the new Center Gallery, focusing on local artists and arts organization. It is located at the former Arts Festival Gallery in the Frances Anderson Center at 700 Main Street, Edmonds, Washington.
Over and Under the Salish Sea by Artist Mona T. Smiley Fairbanks
Over and Under the Salish Sea” by Mona T. Smiley-Fairbanks is now showing at the Frances Anderson Center in Edmonds. This acrylic series explores life beneath our coastal waters. On view May 26 through July 28, with a reception on June 19.
Moondance: A Spring Celebration of Sculpture Inspired by the Moon
“Moondance: Sculptural Works Inspired by the Moon” is the newest gallery show by the Sculptors Workshop at the Frances Anderson Center in Edmonds. Runs April 7 through May 22, 2025.
Edmonds Arts Commission Celebrates 50 Years
50th Anniversary Edmonds Arts Commission - now through March 27th
Founded in 1975, the City of Edmonds Art Commission ensures that arts are a vital part of the community’s quality of life, economic vitality and central identity. On exhibit are a selection from the City’s Public Art Collection. An overview includes programs developed by the Edmonds Arts Commission ranging from Summer Concerts in the Park (starting in late 1970s); Write on the Sound Writer’s Conference (1985); designation of Edmonds as the first State certified Creative District (2018); to the latest public art project: the Gateway Canopy developed in partnership with Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation to be completed June 2025.
Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation awards art instruction grants for 2023-24
The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation has awarded $10,125 in grants that promote arts education in schools.
