Kids Create is located in the lower level of the Frances Anderson Center(with student art), Room 112.

All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian while visiting Kids Create.

Hop, skip, and jump to join us inside Frances Anderson Center, lower level, for art fun and an opportunity for hands on, uniquely creative projects to delight ALL ages and abilities.

Led by local artists Vicki Adams and Michele McGraw, each day offers new activity options designed to encourage exploration of new materials and expression of creative ideas using found objects, professional grade art materials, and small hand tools.

Participants may engage in one or more creativity stations each day:

  • take apart vintage machines

  • build an "EAFling" Junk Bot from fun blocks, hardware bits and found objects

  • expressive collage

  • create a Festival fairy crown from garden treasures

  • drawing and watercolor painting
