Now through December 15, the Arts Festival Gallery is hosting an exhibit by The Seaview Weaving and Fiber Arts Guild. This local organization is dedicated to the study, creation, and promotion of all aspects of fiber arts with an emphasis on weaving. Members enjoy a variety of techniques from spinning, dyeing, and weaving, to sewing and quilting, knitting, crochet and felting, paper crafts collage, and beading. Works demonstrating a variety of these techniques are on display.

The Seaview Weavers Guild was established in 1953 and with the growth of membership over the years, interests have expanded. In 2011 the name was changed to Seaview Weaving and Fiber Arts Guild to reflect this growth. Members meet in the mornings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September-May. At meetings members delve into new experiences with fibers through guest speakers, demonstrators, and/or by using the expertise of Guild members.

The Gallery is presented to community members by the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation and is located in the Frances Anderson Center, downtown Edmonds. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-7pm, and Saturday, 10am-1pm.
