Showcasing the fine artists and musicians who contribute to the vibrant arts community of Edmonds

The Edmonds Plaza is a unique venue that is part of the Arts Festival. Here we showcase the talented artists of Edmonds. At the Plaza, visitors can leisurely browse art in an outdoor park-like setting with a relaxed ambiance, and indoors inside the large Edmonds Plaza Room. Guests can view and buy art, talk with the artists, listen to live music, enjoy snacks, unwind, and experience breath-taking views of the Salish Sea and Olympic mountains. The Edmonds Plaza provides this venue for outstanding Edmonds’ artists to congregate and feature their work in one location.

More than 50 established and emerging visual artists from the Edmonds area are featured at the Edmonds Plaza. All art is for sale. In addition to the visual arts, patrons can listen to live music all weekend. Entertainment features Edmonds’ singer-songwriters.

Part of the mission of the Edmonds Plaza is to expose and educate visitors on varieties of art types. Art types here are varied and unique. Visitors and artists enjoy conversing with each other, and neighbors meet and congregate while enjoying the fabulous view. With its spacious layout and pleasant ambience, being at the Edmonds Plaza can feel more like a community social gathering than a busy shopping event.

The Edmonds Plaza is located at a separate area on the west end of the Festival grounds above the Edmonds Library, accessed from 7th Ave & Main Street or through the Frances Anderson Center building. We hope you join us on the Edmonds Plaza in 2024!

Indoor Edmonds Plaza Room

The indoor Edmonds Plaza Room, adjacent to the outdoor area, features original art by established artists affiliated with the Edmonds Art Studio Tour. Here, guests will see a preview of artists who participate in this popular tour of local art studios held every September and have an early opportunity to purchase their art.

Artists of all Ages and Stages

A favorite place at the Edmonds Plaza for families and artists of all ages is Kids Create. This outdoor tented area at the Plaza offers hands-on art experiences and instruction. Not to be missed is the non-profit Art for All booth, where individuals with disabilities demonstrate and sell their unique creations.
