Jennie de Mello e Souza
The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation is pleased to announce that Jennie de Mello e Souza has joined their Board of Directors. A 20-year resident of Edmonds, Jennie is a working artist, local art instructor, and teaches art education at Redmond High School. As a teacher, she has been a past recipient of several Art Instruction Grants from the Foundation and knows first-hand how these grants positively impact the community.
Jennie closely aligns with the Foundation’s mission to bring education and cultural enrichment to our community members through the arts and is a welcome member to the Board. She recently expressed, “I truly believe that the arts can change the lives of children for the better and I am proud to serve my community on the Arts Festival Foundation Board.” Jennie will be working with teachers and artists through the Foundation’s Art Instruction Grants program.
