The Edmonds Arts Festival and Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation are proud to be sponsors of the annual Edmonds Art Studio Tour, which takes place this year on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20. Due to COVID-19, this year’s Art Studio Tour is completely online, making it even more accessible to those interested in supporting local artists and learning more about their creative process.

The artists selected to participate in the annual studio tour are chosen based on specific criteria, including a connection to the Edmonds community. Many of those artists have agreed to safely show their work while adhering to the restrictions on gathering in person. Virtual Art Studio Tour visitors will enjoy seeing artworks in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, jewelry, wood sculptures, glasswork, pottery, and much more.

During the virtual studio tour weekend, many artists will post video tours of their studios, demonstrate how they do their work, and give virtual visitors a sense of their creative process.

Information about the artists selected to participate in this year’s studio tour will soon be available on the Edmonds Art Studio Tour website. Each artist’s information will contain a link to their website for visitors to view and purchase their work. As the virtual studio tour approaches, a detailed agenda including dates and times of individual artists’ video presentations will be posted on the Art Studio Tour site.

The Virtual Edmonds Art Studio Tour is a great way to support local artists, who have been greatly impacted by COVID-19 as festivals they rely on as a source of income are being canceled. The Festival and Festival Foundation are proud to continue their support of this special event and encourage people to participate in this safe and healthy way to get to know the artists who live in the area.
