The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation awarded more than $50,000 to 15 students pursuing careers in creative fields

‍The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation recently celebrated the achievements and aspirations of its 2026–27 scholarship recipients at a special reception held Wednesday, June 3, at Art Works in Edmonds. The event honored 15 talented students pursuing degrees in arts-related fields.

This year, the Foundation awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships from its endowment fund to students whose studies span a wide range of creative disciplines, including animation, architecture, medical illustration, environmental design, theater production and design, interior design, film production, and digital art. These programs not only help students refine their artistic skills and build professional portfolios, but also provide pathways to meaningful careers in the creative industries.

‍Each year, the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation supports emerging artists who have graduated from a high school in the Edmonds School District boundaries or who are studying art at Edmonds College. Scholarship recipients may apply for renewal funding annually while continuing their arts education toward a bachelor's degree.
