The Port of Edmonds, Edmonds Arts Festival, and ArtWorks are co-sponsoring Artists In Action this summer on the Edmonds waterfront.

Local artists will demonstrate each Sunday from 1-3PM through the summer at the Port of Edmonds plaza (behind Anthony’s restaurant, 456 Admiral Way). Enjoy the Sea Jazz Band while artists demonstrate how they work!

The Edmonds Arts Festival Association heartily thanks the 500 plus volunteers who made the Festival such a wonderful event for our community.

The Festival was totally dependent on the time and effort our unpaid heroes donated; volunteers helped before, during and after the 3-day event. They checked in art, set the galleries, worked with children on Kids Create projects, provided booth relief to artists, manned the information booth and so much more. We could not do this event without volunteer help. We extend a huge Thank You to each of them.

If you would like to be part of the Edmonds Arts Festival next year, sign-ups will begin April 1, 2015, on the Our Volunteers link.

Every year more than 500 dedicated, engaged, community-minded and fun volunteers step up to make the Edmonds Arts Festival happen. If you love the arts, don’t miss this rewarding opportunity! We invite you to join us in supporting the arts and our community by volunteering to work with artists and art-lovers in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

We offer opportunities for people with a wide variety of skills and time commitments. Some of the areas where we seek volunteers include:

  • BEFORE the Festival: check in Juried Art, hang art in Student Art, help with “The pARTy” benefit, assist with carpentry, electrical and technical skills.
  • DURING the Festival: help for 2-3 hour shifts with: Kids Create projects, Juried Art, Transportation/Signage, Student Art Gallery, booth sitting, Festival Store, or Information Booth.
  • AFTER the Festival: help take down various areas of the Festival.
  • Planning committees (throughout the year)

Volunteer sign-ups are available online at Our Volunteers page, or you may visit us at the Edmonds Saturday Market during the month of May and the first week in June. For additional information, email
