What We Do
What We Do
Our all-volunteer association of dedicated people work together throughout the year to produce this world-class, not-for-profit arts event for the benefit of our community.
A Community Event
Our goal is to make the Festival a fun event for the entire community. We do this by involving local schools, the college, galleries, restaurants, local businesses, City officials; and community members. People often comment that they love running into friends and neighbors whom they haven’t seen since last year’s Festival.
Fun Shopping Experience
Whether you like to purchase art for your home and yourself or as gifts for your friends, we always have a wide variety for sale at a range of prices. You can purchase original artwork in many media types, yard art, clothing, jewelry, crafts, music, and even gourmet foods. With more than 240 vendors, you’ll be sure to find something that you can’t live without.
Even if you don’t choose to shop, there are many fun things you can do at the Festival. At the outdoor amphitheater, you can relax and listen to music or watch dance performances or theater. A schedule of performances is posted in the program so you can make sure not to miss your favorite group. At Kids Create, children can get their faces painted or do a hands-on art project to take home. For your viewing pleasure, you will find juried art exhibits by artists of all skill levels from kindergartners through professionals. There is terrific fair food you can sample and a wine/beer grotto where many like to meet their friends.
