TRACEY FUGAMI –
Paintings, Prints and Drawings
Tracey Fugami was the Director of Education at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle Washington. She has an MA in Visual Arts Administration from New York University and a BA in Printmaking and Drawing from Cornish College of the Arts. She has previously worked in institutions such as The Drawing Center and the Whitney Museum in New York and has independently curated exhibitions locally and written reviews for nationally published magazines including ArtPapers, Afterimage, and Sculpture Review.
JOHN RINGEN –
Miniatures
John Ringen holds a BA in Art Education and an MFA in Painting from the University of Washington. He is past president of both the Northwest Watercolor Society and the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters. For the past forty-five years, he has been teaching classes and workshops throughout Washington, in Canada and Alaska. His loose, impressionistic painting style has made him a frequent award winner in juried competitions. He regards himself simply as an artist who records his visual impressions and feelings, a reaction painter. John enthusiastically proclaims that there is nothing quite as exciting, challenging, or rewarding as attacking a crisp white sheet of watercolor paper. And he finds that this is also true working on location even on days when the sky is gray, the landscape flat, and his precious watercolors mysteriously turn to mud.
MINH CARRICO –
Photography
Minh Carrico brings his passion for visual communications and real world experiences to the classroom after sixteen years of working as a designer, photographer, and producer in the advertising and magazine industries. Minh teaches design and photography at Edmonds Community College, Lynnwood, Washington, where he also serves as Faculty Co-chair of the Visual Arts Program. Outside of the classroom, Minh works on a number of fine art photography projects and art installations that address identity. His work has been displayed in the Seattle area at the Photographic Center Northwest, Benham Gallery, and Edmonds Community College.
KRISTI ZEVENBERGEN –
Artisans’ Works and Sculpture
Regional artist Kristi Zevenbergen has been practicing metal and jewelry arts for over a decade, providing both a production line of easy to wear, unique and noticeable items as well as limited edition and one of a kind collectable wearable art. Her work emphasizes quality and craftsmanship worthy of preservation. Kristi has curated presentations and interpreted various styles of metal artistry, as well as teaching metalsmithing, wire and beading courses and workshops within the Puget Sound Area. As an artist teaching others, she hopes to impart the joy of creating and the permission to create just for the sake of it. She enjoys watching the process of discovery as students apply techniques and imagine and discuss possibilities.
