The Edmonds Arts Festival needs your help

Throughout the Year
If you’re interested in participating as a committee member or want to find out about future directorship opportunities, please send an inquiry through the “Contact” link on this site. We’d be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.

During the Festival
Volunteers fill a myriad of jobs during the Festival, including checking in the art for the juried galleries, helping sell art during the Festival, staffing information booths, serving breakfast or dinner to artists, checking in volunteers, greeting visitors, handing out programs, and more. You can sign up to volunteer at areas that are of most interest to you.

To Volunteer
When you select from the list below, you are taken to that volunteer list on our online app—SignUpGenius
1. Click on of the links to access that SignUpGenius list
2. Click the Sign Up button next to the time slot that you wish to fill.
3. If you have a SignUpGenius account, enter your account information and proceed to sign up.
4. If you don’t have an account, complete the information under I do not have a SignUpGenius account (including Addition Info)

Note: If you do not want a SignUpGenius account, DO NOT select Create an account at SignUpGenius.

Artist Booths
Help with physical setup of The Festival.  Supervise a booth when an artist needs a break, please bring your cell phone. Breakdown of the field after The Festival.

Festival Store
Sell The Festival logo-wear; collecting cash and checks, process credit card payments using the IPad Square and use a cash register.

Work as a Greeter at the shuttle stop and main entrance; help with the daily breakfast for the artists; help with the “Thank You” dinner for the artists; help with the Artist Awards Ceremony.

Information Booth
Take a shift at the Information Booth on the Field or the Plaza.  Answer general questions and give directions to our Festival visitors.

Gallery Art
Check the art in/or out in preparation for the installation of the Gallery Art; host a gallery; collect cash, checks and process electronic payments on the IPad for art sales.

Kids Create!
Oversee craft station.  Assist and inspire young artists create fun craft projects that they can take home.  All supplies and instructions provided.

Student Art
Help hang or breakdown the Student Art Exhibit; host a Gallery room.

The Benefit Party
Greeting guests, selling tickets, serving appetizers and beverages. Also, party prep and clean up for the Festival’s fundraising Benefit to Support the Arts in Edmonds.

Transportation, Parking, and Signs
Hang signs around the city and the Frances Anderson Center. Line the Field to define parking for artists and vendors, assist with shuttle vans or parking; assist the Directors of Transportation, Parking, Signage.

Volunteer Check-in Desk
Work in the Volunteer Break Room, checking off the names of volunteers as they arrive for their shifts.  Give out Volunteer Shirts, maps, name tags, directions to work assignments or accompany them to their work area. The Volunteer Room is also the break room where artists can come for a snack, put their feet up, or get out of the weather.  Refill snack and beverage containers.  Must be comfortable working with the public and have a cheerful nature, greeting all who visit the hub that is the Volunteer Room.
